Usage

The Deluxe Hand wraps are designed for boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and related combat sports. They serve as the essential intermediate layer between your skin and your boxing gloves or MMA gloves. Hand wraps stabilize your wrists, protect your knuckles and the small bones of your hand from impact, and absorb sweat that would otherwise seep directly into the lining of your gloves—which improves hygiene and extends the life of your gloves.

Material and Construction

The Deluxe is made from 100% nylon yarn, a high-quality composition that ensures a supple and comfortable fiber structure. This fabric feels softer against the skin than cheap, standard hand wraps and retains its shape after repeated washing. The rubber-coated wrist tab prevents the hand wrap from coming loose when you clench your fist or fasten the wrist lock, resulting in a truly secure fit that stays in place even during intense combinations.

Closure and Wrapping

The extended Velcro closure ensures the hand wraps secure tightly without any protruding ends. The low-profile design prevents the hook-and-loop closure from snagging on glove liners, clothing, or other hand wraps. The thumb loop at the start of the wrap helps you wrap consistently and correctly, which is a major advantage—especially for beginners—in creating a solid foundation wrap.

Length and Fit

• Length: approximately 4.5 meters (450 cm)
• Width: approximately 5 cm

This length is the standard for adult fighters and provides enough material to comfortably support the hand, knuckles, wrist, and thumb. For children or fighters with smaller hands, a shorter version is recommended, such as the Hayabusa Perfect Stretch Youth Hand Wraps.

Difference from other Hayabusa wraps

The Deluxe stands out from standard cotton wraps thanks to its premium nylon fabric and reinforced rubber-coated wrist label, which provide a more durable and professional feel. While the Perfect Stretch offers more stretch thanks to its cotton-nylon blend, the Deluxe provides a snug, non-elastic fit that’s a favorite among fighters who prefer an old-school, firm wrap. Both are good choices—which one you prefer depends on whether you want more stretch or more structure.

Who are they for?

These wraps are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and experienced fighters. Beginners benefit from the thumb loop and clear wrapping guidance, while experienced fighters appreciate the durable performance fabric and the locked-in wrist tab. Popular among boxers who prefer classic, non-stretch wraps for maximum structure and wrist support.

Why wear wraps?

Good wraps aren’t a luxury—they’re a necessity. They stabilize your wrists against hyperextension during heavy punches, protect your metacarpals from injury, and keep your boxing gloves fresh longer by absorbing sweat. No serious boxer, kickboxer, or MMA fighter steps into the ring or onto the mat without properly wrapped hand wraps under their gloves.

Care

The Deluxe Hand wraps are machine washable on the cold cycle with similar colors. It’s best to use a laundry bag to protect the Velcro and prevent tangling. They can also be tumble dried. Wash your hand wraps after every workout to prevent odors and bacterial growth.

Color Options

Available in black, blue, red, and black/gold. Bold, classic colors that pair seamlessly with the most popular Hayabusa gloves and boxing apparel.

With the Hayabusa Deluxe Hand Wraps, you’re choosing premium wraps that combine comfort, durability, and stable support. A smart investment for any fighter who wants to protect their hands in the long term and look sharp at the gym.
