Use

The PTS3 Focus Mitts are designed for boxing, kickboxing and MMA striking training. They are ideal for:

• Striking techniques (jab, cross, hook, uppercut)
• Combination training at pace and precision
• Defensive drills and reaction training
• Timing and distance work with a partner
• Warm-up and technical build-up for sparring

Thanks to the optimal size, as a trainer or partner you present clear targets for your fighter, while remaining light and quick to provoke realistic combinations.

Material and construction

The focus mitts are built around a carefully designed foam core that absorbs hard impact without making the target area bulky or heavy. The outside is made of a durable material that resists sweat and intensive daily use, ideal for gyms where multiple classes are held per day. The contoured inside naturally fits around the hand and provides a stable grip, so as a trainer you experience more control and less fatigue.

Dimensions and weight

• Height: approximately 25.5 cm (10 inch)
• Width: approximately 19 cm (7.5 inch)
• Depth: approximately 5 cm (2 inch)
• Weight: approximately 340 g (12 oz) per mitt

This is the ideal size for versatile striking training: large enough to provide a clear target, small and light enough for high-tempo drills.

For whom?

The PTS3 Focus Mitts are intended for trainers, coaches, sparring partners and advanced fighters who want to work together on technique, timing and combinations. Also ambitious amateurs who want to train with a training partner at home or in the gym benefit from the durable and handy construction. The mitts are used per pair for optimal training results.

Why focus mitts?

Focus mitts are essential in modern striking training. Whereas a punching bag only responds to pure power, mitts challenge you to hit precisely on a moving target. This stimulates your accuracy, speed, timing and sense of rhythm — skills you need in every competition and sparring session. A good pair of mitts like the PTS3 makes the difference between messy training and purposeful technique development.

Maintenance

Wipe the mitts clean after every training session with a lightly damp cloth. Let them dry completely in the air, away from direct sunlight, and store them in a well-ventilated space to prevent odour. The durable material requires little maintenance, so the PTS3 will last for years even with daily use.

With the Hayabusa PTS3 Focus Mitts you choose a set of mitts that combines technique, durability and comfort in one thoughtfully designed product. A smart investment for any trainer, coach or fighter who wants to take their striking to the next level.
