Venum Backpack Challenger Pro Evo - Black/White

In short: The Venum Challenger Pro Evo is a compact gym bag with a 22.5-litre capacity, designed for combat sports and daily use. With three separate compartments and padded shoulder straps, this backpack offers plenty of space for your training session without unnecessary bulk.

This gym bag is ideal for fighters heading to the gym with a basic kit: boxing gloves, shin guards, towels and small personal items fit comfortably inside. With a 22.5-litre capacity, this is a day bag, not a weekend bag. If you regularly carry multiple sets of gear, larger boxing gloves or a complete MMA set, you'll benefit from a larger gym bag or duffel bag from the Venum range.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 22.5 litres
• Dimensions: 30 x 50 x 15 cm (width x height x depth)
• Three separate compartments for organisation
• Adjustable shoulder straps with foam padding
• Colour: black with white Venum logo

The three compartments help keep your gear organised: a main compartment for clothing and gloves, a front pocket for small items like tape, mouthguard and keys, and a middle compartment for extra organisation. The adjustable shoulder straps with foam padding ensure you can carry the bag comfortably on your back, even when fully packed. The compact design makes it suitable as hand luggage and for daily commuting.

Gym bag versus duffel bag: which suits you?

A gym bag like the Challenger Pro Evo you wear on your back, leaving your hands free – handy on a bike or public transport. A duffel bag you carry over your shoulder or in your hand and usually offers more volume (often 40 to 60 litres), ideal for those carrying multiple pairs of gloves, focus mitts or a complete gi. The choice depends on how much gear you need for each training session and how you travel. Measure your standard training kit at home to check whether 22.5 litres is enough: a pair of boxing gloves, shin guards, towel and clothing fit inside, but if you add pads, a head guard or multiple sets, you'll quickly hit the limit.

Frequently asked questions

How many litres is the Venum Challenger Pro Evo gym bag and what fits inside?

The gym bag has a capacity of 22.5 litres. That's enough for a standard training set: boxing gloves (12–16 oz), shin guards, a towel, sports clothing and small accessories like hand wraps and a mouthguard. For multiple pairs of gloves, focus mitts or a complete gi you'll need more volume.

What are the exact dimensions of this Venum gym bag?

The dimensions are 30 cm wide, 50 cm tall and 15 cm deep. Note: these are the bag's outer dimensions, not your body measurements. Measure your current kit at home to check whether everything fits, especially if you have larger 16 oz gloves or bulky shin guards.

Does the Venum Challenger Pro Evo have enough compartments for organisation?

Yes, the gym bag has three separate compartments. The main compartment provides space for larger items like gloves and clothing, the front pocket is handy for small items like keys, phone and tape, and the middle compartment offers extra organisation options. This way wet and dry items stay separate.

Are the shoulder straps of this gym bag comfortable for prolonged wear?

The shoulder straps are adjustable and feature foam padding, which increases carrying comfort. This distributes the weight better across your shoulders, even when the bag is completely full. This makes the gym bag suitable for longer distances, for example on a bike or public transport.

Is 22.5 litres enough for a complete MMA training or BJJ session?

For BJJ with a complete gi (jacket and trousers) 22.5 litres is tight; a gi takes up around 15 to 20 litres on its own. For MMA with gloves, shin guards and no-gi clothing it works, but without extra gear like pads or a head guard. Check the volume of your gi or kit beforehand.

Can I use the Venum Challenger Pro Evo as hand luggage on a plane?

With dimensions of 30 x 50 x 15 cm, the gym bag falls within the hand luggage limits of most airlines (often a maximum of 55 x 40 x 20 cm total). Always check the specific rules of your airline, as some budget carriers have stricter requirements for the sum of length, width and height.
