Caged 'X' Series Shin Guard Size Chart
The correct size of your shin guards is crucial for protection, comfort and performance. Shin guards that are too large or too small can slip or leave areas unprotected. Use the following table to find your ideal fit.
How to Measure Correctly
Measure your shin from the upper area of your ankle to just below the kneecap.
For the foot area, measure from the ankle to the base of your toes (not to the tips).
| Size | Shin Length | Foot Length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 33 cm | 14 cm |
| M | 37 cm | 16 cm |
| L | 40 cm | 19 cm |
| XL | 43 cm | 20 cm |
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do you know if your shin guards fit correctly?
Your shin should be completely covered from the ankle to just below the knee. The foot protection should sit securely on your foot without shifting during movement.
What if you're between two sizes?
Consider what matters more to you: for maximum protection, choose the larger size. For more mobility and speed, go for the smaller one.
Are larger shin guards always better?
Not necessarily. Larger models offer more coverage but can restrict mobility. Choose according to your type of training (sparring vs. technique training).
Should children wear adult sizes?
No. Children and teenagers should always choose based on their actual measurements. Adult sizes usually don't fit optimally.
How tight should shin guards fit?
They should fit snugly but not cut in. If they slip or twist during training, they're probably too large or too loose.
Tip: Always try on shin guards barefoot or with the socks or shin sleeves you wear during training.
