Usage

The Perfect Stretch Hand wraps are the ideal base layer for boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and related combat sports. They provide an essential protective layer between your skin and your boxing gloves or MMA gloves. The hand wraps stabilize your wrists, protect your knuckles and thumb, and absorb sweat that would otherwise end up directly in your gloves—significantly extending the lifespan and hygiene of your gloves.

Material and Stretch

The wraps are made of 50% cotton and 50% nylon, a combination that provides the perfect balance between softness, breathability, and stretch. The Mexican stretch feature allows you to wrap the hand wraps tightly without sacrificing freedom of movement. You get firm, supportive compression without the hand wraps cutting into your skin or restricting blood circulation.

Closure and Wrapping

The wide Velcro closure keeps the wraps securely in place during intense workouts. Thanks to the thumb loop and the “This Side Up” marking, you always know exactly where to start, which makes wrapping—especially for beginners—a lot easier. A properly wrapped hand wrap is essential for optimal protection, and these details help you consistently maintain good wrapping technique.

Length and Fit

• Length: approximately 4.5 meters (450 cm)
• Width: approximately 5 cm

This length is the standard for adult fighters and provides enough material to securely support the hand, knuckles, wrist, and thumb. Do you have smaller hands or are you training a child? Then check out the Hayabusa Perfect Stretch Youth Hand Wraps for a better-fitting alternative.

Who are they for?

These wraps are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and experienced fighters. Beginners appreciate the simple thumb loop and clear wrapping instructions, while experienced fighters discover the combination of stretch, breathability, and durability that makes the Perfect Stretch a top choice for daily use. The wide range of colors and prints also makes it easy to coordinate with your outfit or gym style.

Why hand wraps?

A good boxing glove or MMA glove provides external protection, but the real stability for your wrists and protection for your metacarpals comes from a good hand wrap. Hand wraps prevent wrist injuries, reduce the risk of broken metacarpal bones, and provide an essential layer between your skin and your gloves. No serious fighter trains without them.

Care

The Perfect Stretch Hand wraps are machine washable on cold with like colors. It’s best to use a laundry bag to protect the Velcro and prevent tangling. They’re also dryer-safe. Wash your hand wraps after every workout to prevent odors and bacterial growth, and you’ll enjoy a fresh, comfortable pair for a long time.

Color Options

Available in a wide range of colors, including classic shades like black, blue, red, green, orange, yellow, purple, and pink, as well as eye-catching prints such as Blue Geo, Orange Maze, Purple Lotus, and Red Tribal. Pair them with your gloves and outfit for a personalized gym look.

With the Hayabusa Perfect Stretch Hand Wraps, you’re choosing wraps that perfectly combine comfort, protection, and stretch. An essential staple for any serious martial artist who wants to take care of their hands in the long run.
